With summer quickly approaching along with all of the good comes a little, annoying bit of bad we call bugs. Especially mosquitos can put a damper on many of the outdoor activities that we all enjoy. Recently, there have been a number of studies that show B-vitamins, more specifically Thiamin due to it’s anti-inflammatory agents can help reduce the amount of bug bites and the side effects we experience from bug bites. So before a big camping trip or paddle down the river load up on your B-vitamins. 100 mgs a day would be a good start.
