Women who drink 4-8 ounces of red wine daily are 40 percent less likely to catch colds. A study done at Yale University shows that the flavonoids (phytochemicals in red and purple grapes skins) combat rhinoviruses.
But what if i prefer white?
Well, an Italian scientist found that it’s plant compounds have an antiviral action.
So basically, drink wine. Red or White and you will reduce your risk of the common cold and/or the flu virus.
