Healthy Home made Granola Bars

2 cups oats

½ cup packed brown sugar

¼ cup wheat germ

¼ cup flax seed

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 cup flour

¾ tsp salt

Dried fruit and nuts (as much as you like)

Mix together and create a well in the center

Add in well:

½ cup honey

1 egg beaten

1 cup vegetable oil

2 tsp vanilla

Mix together

Pack into a 9*13 baking dish

Bake at 350 for 25-30 min or till golden brown

Let cool for about 5-10 min then cut into squares while still warm to prevent from breaking

Try adding cranberries and almonds for a little extra flavour.

    Some very healthy ingredients there with the wheat germ, flaxseed, cinnamon and honey.
